How did you get it connected (or bypass) to the e brake? Trying to load a custom background or watch a dvd on mine and can’t without connecting to ebrake

I have the 2000 F250 Super Duty 5.4. Mine harness was disconnected from the original owner and it's leaking out of the sensor now. Do I need to add the wire harness or will just the sensor itself suffice? I don't care about cruise control. I have the part and wire harness, but like I said the actual wires are butchered.

Do you lift the rear of this truck by jacking up the rear diff? The manual says don't lift the front or the rear by jacking up the diff. Obviously the front works fine for you.

I have done the same but it didnt work only difference i upgraded to a facelift steering wheel with paddles on a preface lift car without paddles but i have auto with manual so i was hoping it would work i dont no if i can get it coded etc

Not worth the time it takes to put them in they are not that flexible just clean and scuff that entire area and give a good satin or matte black paint job

They’re all made in the same Red Chinese factory….Snap-On and Harbor Freight….same factory! The Tool Bear 🐻 had opened my eyes to that fact. Also, I’ve read that jacking a a truck by its “pumpkin” is not recommended but I see it done all the time so….

I been told to put black silicone gasket before reinstalling a new cam plug. But you did not do so I am asking myself do I really need to put some silicone !?!?

When disconnecting the battery always take off the negative cable. Never take off the positive power cable.. Also be aware that many Mercedes models have 2 batteries. But i must say i am a bit suprised that no coding for the paddle shifters was needed. Thanks for posting.

would the cam plugs be the same as the expansion plugs that Mercedes is referring to in my repair estimate? " ENGINE CENTRIFUGE COVER IS LEAKING OIL. RECOMMEND REPLACING COVER AND EXPANSION PLUGS" is what was listed on the form given to me from MB.

Have the same exact issue on a 2000 F250. Leak in the brake line near about 1/2 way back. Got it fixed, but the master cylinder emptied out the night before, so now I have air in the ABS module. Tried bleeding the brakes, but the pedal still goes to the floor. Looks like I need a better scan tool! Thanks, this helped a lot!

So I bought the tool I did the abs bleed, while the abs module was activated, the brake pedal went to the floor. Did you experience this?

When applying the little lib on the boot there is an easier way see the type that you have on the lip only pay off an inch on the left and right but when you peel the inch left and right leave the little red strip hanging from the back so you are only using double-sided tape which means if you put it in the wrong position it is easy to remove and do again when you are happy with the position Paul and there are two strips of red tape cover to reveal double-sided tape and then you know you have it in obviously if you take off all of the tape cover and offer it into position and if you contact Anne it is in the wrong position you could possibly even break it trying to remove it so that's why it is easier to just peel back a half inch left and right an inch left and right and simply in the position that you are a happy with and as I said when you peel back the left and right you leave the hanging when you are fully content just simply Paul the rest of the cover of the type and press down hard
